Good chocolate doesn't have to be a serious affair. Five sardines in a tin can looks very realistic. They are created from high quality 39% milk chocolate. The tin is protected from above by a transparent plastic wrapper.
Ingredients: sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, cocoa beans, emulsifier: rapeseed lecithin, real Bourbon vanilla. May contain traces of nuts and gluten.
Exceptional quality: Michel Cluizel works closely with farmers and encourages them to preserve the traditional methods of cocoa bean cultivation and fermentation. He ensures fair conditions for farming and living. Michel Cluizel uses long roasting at low temperatures to preserve the specific flavours. In order to achieve the unrivalled flavours of his chocolates, Cluizel has often tested more than 20 combinations of fermentation and roasting methods. The actual roasting, grinding and blending of the cocoa beans takes place in Voiron, France.
When it comes to the raw materials, Michel Cluizel takes great care. He has even patented the trademark 'Nobles Ingredients' (or 'noble, noble ingredients'), which in practice means that he uses in his products:
- only pure cocoa butter, without any added vegetable fats,
- natural Bourbon vanilla instead of vanillin,
- no soya lecithin or artificial flavours.
The company also guarantees that no ingredients have undergone irradiation or ionisation.
